틀림없이 떫은 감일 거야

모양은 저래도

이사 온 첫해 가을

검으면서도 달디 단 육질

사근사근한 바람기들이

나의 혀를 유혹했다

1월 평균 기온 영하5C 이하로 떨어지지 않는 곳

따뜻한 남해안에서만 산다는 단감나무가

여기에도 있다니

딱딱하게 굳은 내 관념의 껍질을 벗겨준

추상적인 내 사고의 몸통을

구체적으로 쪼개는 방법을 알려준

해 설핏하면 귀를 베어가는 바람이

옷섶을 풀어헤치고 따뜻한 삶을 가로막는

서울의 아파트 앞에 당당히

내 키 두 질도 훨씬 넘게 자라 가지와 의지를 힘차게 뻗어

잘 익은 열매를 매달아 등 따뜻한 가을을

표현하고 있는

단감이 익어가는 남쪽은 어디에나 있다는 걸

참새 몇 마리 고개를 까닥 거린다

윤기 흐르는 나뭇잎 사이에서

It must surely be astringent Despite its appearance The first autumn after moving here Black yet sweet flesh The crisp breezes Tempted my tongue Where the average January temperature doesn't drop below -5°C A sweet persimmon tree that only grows in the warm southern coast Exists even here Peeling away the hardened shell of my beliefs Teaching me how to concretely dissect The abstract body of my thoughts When the sun sets, the wind that cuts through the ears Unbuttons the clothes and blocks the warm life Standing proudly in front of Seoul's apartment Growing well over twice my height, its branches and will stretch vigorously Bearing ripe fruits, expressing the warm autumn In front of me The sweet persimmons ripening in the south can be found anywhere A few sparrows nod their heads Among the glossy leaves
